Not enough Train, too much Mraz. Still a bad song.

My comments didn't make it in thanks to computer woes - if they had Beck, Stefani and Kelly all would have had reduced scores. For the terminally curious: http://fractional.blogspot.com/2005/07/snafu.html

I only now realize why I'm digging "These Words" so much: It's the single that should've been Nellie McKay's breakthrough last year--but with some sly, not-so-subtle digs at the Bush administration, consumerist culture, and/or meat-eaters. Then it would go to 11.

I kind of like "Chariot," actually.

the only thing greater than 'these words' is the video for 'these words' with all those adorable walking, dancing boomboxes. song of the summer!

Why are you guys hating on Beck? Troubling. He'll still be here when the rest of these artists are working at K-Mart. Except for Stefani, of course. She'll be a greeter at Claire's.

Gnarles, I brought up the same point on the UK jukebox to no avail. So I guess that means that "Girl" is objectivley bad... (Damn, I wish sarcasm worked better on the internet...)

Longevity counts for exactly nothing in this business. Beck can stick around for as long as he wants, if he's still shitty then I don't see why we should cut him any slack.

 Those boomboxes are a 10.
