| What a great song. What a great album. I think Reinhold Messner may have been their best album as a whole. Thanks for making me pull it back off the shelf! |

| I love the version of this song on Ben Folds Live when he has the audience yell out the brass parts. Fantastic! |
|
| Shit, I would've mentioned that if I'd remembered, truk. That gave me chills.
Reinhold is a fearsome album, no matter how it's sliced. I think it's easily their best... |

| Fearsome is a great way to describe it. I think it catches the band at a time where they reach their creative peak and I also think that they realize it. If you watch the studio sessions that are shown on the dvd "the complete sessions at west 54th", the band looks like a bunch of dejected ghosts recording an album in a candle lit mausoleum. That mood really carries through to most of the album too. |

| Reinhold Messner is an underrated album....almost every song on there is awesome. "Magic," "Regrets," "Don't Change Your Plans." It's too bad Ben Folds' solo work isn't as good....although he comes close on a few. "Army" was a great song that defined the whole 'quarter-life crisis' that people talked about later. |
