| I'm glad to see that someone else agrees with me on the fact that 'We Love Life' is bloody marvellous. I've been listening to it every sunday for the past seven months.
It was Jarvis Cocker accepting middle age that made it so wondrous. The realisation that if he carried on singing about sleazy sexual encounters in the suburbs he'd seem like a bit of a pervert. Hence delightfully twee epics like 'Birds In Your Garden' and 'The Trees'. About bloody time. If you're so near the moors and the dales why the fuck would you want to stay in Sheffield?
And then came Relaxed Muscle.
Shame. |

| sunrise is endlessly listenable. mostly the second half. but whatever. |
| Supergrass = infinitely better than anything else on this list. |
| "The Night That Minnie Timperly Died" is just an incredible song. A real triumph. "We Love Life" is so underappreciated. |
| I agree with Zarklephaser. As a 'grass fanatic, I don't think those boys should be lumped together with this junk (Pulp aside). Life on Other Planets might be their best album too. Each song is a potential single. |
| I really rather like Be Here Now. |
| in about 15 years "Science and Nature" will be seen as the classic that it is. therell probably ne a Mojo special abotu it. |
| Felicity Cat - what's wrong with Relaxed Muscle. that was a great idea. You'renot going to tell me you didn't like the totally overdriven (in every possible way) Sexualized?! Come now. |
