| Awesome writing and intriguing releases again Bryan, thanks. The Medroxy Progesterone Acetate review makes me wonder whether an article on the equipment used by these people wouldn't make for interesting reading. Err..for me anyway. This bit: "there exists a Zen-like quality to the cacophony of MPA", I find to be the truth behind a lot of the noise aesthetic. Zoning out and blasting the distortion is not the same thing as acheiving a trance like state through subtle manipulations of frequency and filters. I even read Nathan Birk in Zero Tolerance bad-mouthing noise for being rudimentary - that from a fan of Finnish Black Metal is a bit rich! Good tip on the Ignatz album. That and the new Quetzocoatzl are shimmering eye openeers that need to be heard. I also like to think that you don't actually own a cd player. | |

| Thanks, Meatbreak. Ignatz also just released a tape on Beniffer Editions that's pretty great. And do you mean the Quetzalcoatl release on Abandon Ship? I'll probably review that one next week... | |
