| Nice piece! Great use of illustrations too - this could have been very dry but was a nice little thing to read while I had my lunch... |

| fun! but no black flag?? |
|
| Cool article! nice, quick read.. |

| Re: The Beatles' Apple logo--don't forget that while a whole apple was typically shown on Side One of Apple releases, an apple sliced in half was shown on the flip side. |

| Re: Black Flag
Not to mention Henry Rollins has tattoos of both the iconographic logo for the misfits and that of Einsturzende Neubauten. |
|
| Uhh Wu-Tang? |
|
| Wu-Tang is a good one from the corporate perspective, and Black Flag from the Punk (actually the tattoo would have been a nice avenue to explore...) but I'm sure y'all appreciate there are many, many, many, logos from the late 1970s onwards and so the piece "missing" logos is kind of, er, well inevitable is one way of putting it.
I would certainly be interested in more early Logos though.

| Are we too cool for Nine Inch Nails, Stylus? |
|
| radiohead? grateful dead? rhcp? nirvana? even fucking HIM? |
|
| All summary, no analysis. Boring. Where's the 'so what' question? The first third or so of the article is good, but when it comes to its focus (band logos), there's little more than restatement. Good idea, though, and would be interesting to pursue more deeply. |
