Andrew, you yourself admitted that this film made you want to pretend to be a Pretenders fan--where's "Brass In Pocket"?

I really love this album, but there were a few things on it that I'd hoped would make the cut but didn't. Your take on it is pretty close to mine, though I can see why they might have purposefully left the Peaches song off. The soundtrack was a bonafide tie-in that I'm sure the producers would help lure people in to see the movie. It sounds crazy, but people who wouldn't be inclined to see indie films like this might still be drawn in by a gentle Air track or the chance to finally hear . I'm not talking about kids who buy Linkin Park CDs or Baby Boomers who are working through their midlife crises by listening to Clay Aiken... I guess I mean the kind of people who regularly shop/browse Barnes & Noble or Borders, people who listen to NPR, people who discovered Nick Drake 3 years ago in between listening to Coldplay and John Mayer and are open-minded enough to take another chance on another "lost artist," people who d/l every album they hear or read about (if those kind of people still exist these days). Am I making sense? I thought not. I need to go comb my hair.

I can't tell you how happy it made me to hear a Phoenix song in such a great movie. Perfect scene for the song, as well.
