| this is an album that lacks some sincerity as there were in the past Suede albums. songs may be well-crafted but the compositions are not satisfying enough.i ain't know what happened to creativity of Anderson ,thus my rating would be C+. not more... sorry:( |

| i listened to here come the tears a month or two ago, by chance, at hmv in tokyo. i had no idea it was butler and anderson, i thought it was just another band swiping their heritage wholesale, but even then i thought it was magnificently done. it's fantastic to have the two of them together again, how about a smiths reunion? |
|
| I haven't given Smiths or Suede much of a chance yet, but I never understood why Morrisey made the 'fatal mistake' of asking the New York Dolls reunite -- but he's yet to reunite the Smiths. |

| lovezero: i know exactly what you mean. there was an edge to
songs like metal mickey and animal nitrate that they never were able to duplicate on future releases(bar the stay togther single which was brilliant, and a handful of other tracks like picnic by the motorway). they are all too polished, overproduced, and predictable...and the ballads
all sound like torch songs. |

| mikell: i'm happy that you understand what i mean, i wish "the tears" will undertsand in their future albums, too. |
