Well, i find a lot of warmth in here, too. This work has been issued months ago, so I can already look a bit back on its impact on my mind/body/soul, and, yeah, it´s a grower. This is music that -it has been often said, but that doesn´t make it untrue - will not reveal its secrets in a long time. You come back to "Belladonna", and you will discover fine details, hidden sounds, time after time. One track takes you (from the point of view of tonal colors) back to the legendary Grant Avenue studios near Ontario, where the magnificent "Apollo" (B. Eno/D. Lanois/R. Eno) was created in the early 80s. "Belladonna" is full of beauty and fragility and will not be for those who like things to be cool and hot and fast food! If you love this, try his 2003 song album "Shine", another highlight of his career.
