| I worked at the college radio station when Berman, Malkmus and Nastanovich were all there. Interestingly, James McNew had a show as well at that time, though I don't think he was a student.
The only interesting story that I have to tell is when some of Berman's friends (I don't know if he was involved) decided to do a Butthole Surfers tribute show for the station's fundraiser. The show was very late at night (2-6am), so the djs decided to cook corndogs on a hibachi to liven things up. They ended up with a crowd that brought a keg of beer among other consumables. They cleaned up the evidence of the party pretty well, except for the smell of cooked corndogs which saturated the stairwell up to the Dean of Student's office. As one of the student leaders at the station, I had to write a very creatively selective letter to the Dean explaining what happened. |

| The Renaissance Faire, mead, Dave Berman, and being hung over. What do all these things have in common? They all involve me and you.
"I went to the Renaissance Faire one day/there were jugglers and maidens it was such a fine day"
Whoever wrote their jingle doesn't understand repetitive rhyme schemes, but nothing gets you hung over like mead, no one is hung over like Berman, and no event is quite as strange to witness drunk than a woman with gigantic tits jousting with a midgit. |

| The only thing U.VA has going for it, is it's musician alumni. The only one we've got at JMU is the band Everything, and their lame one hit wonder "Hooch."
I knew I should have gone to William & Mary; at least they have John Stewart.
