Hmm - interesting piece of creative writing, but what was the album like?

You really should be knifed in the eyeball for that wank-a-thon of a review. Shame.

No, wait...Don't tell me. The "bar" is the album, and the "woman" is Brian Molko! Oh, how very clever of you. Now. What does the fucking MUSIC sound like?

Very amusing. Much more interesting than a placebo review has any right to be.

Friday I'm In Love is great. Better than any of the other songs mentioned, and than this album.

Yeah, yeah, we get it... you really wanted to write for Pitchfork circa 2001, but they turned you down, so you decided to "sublimate" your disappointment in a review of a band that no one that's "indie" really cares about anymore. Boo hoo. Can't wait to see your take on Tool's new one.

This was interesting, however if I actually cared about the new Placebo record, I am sure I would find it impossibly, excruciatingly, ridiculously annoying and forced. I guess that's your job though.

Impressive work there. Not even mentioning the album.

You've inspired me to sip some fruity wine and listen to The Cure all day. Faggot.

thanks for wasting my time you moron. seems like stylus is going down the drain. pitchfork might be snobby and pretencious, but at least they have reviews. plus "song to say goodbye" is so good the whole album can't possibly score a D-. if this is published on stylus, then i might as well join you guys and write reviews about those white dots i sometimes see. and about ufos. get rid of such retards, honestly.

BEST... REVIEW... EV-AH!!! AAAAAH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Fuck Placebo, they rot. I mean, for a minute there I found myself thinking, "I wish he's explained why it got a D- instead of an F", but then I caught myself. Who the fuck cares? 2 all tha hataz: there's nothing to "get", chumps, except the new Placebo record if you're a glutton for punishment.

I'm guessing I'm probably the only person out there who both likes Placebo and this review. Haha.
