| i like this album, but it's not worthy of the critical freak out it is getting. It's a solid B, but really what's so ground breaking and exciting about it?

| Love the album, like the review, but Derek, honestly "a slight seismic shift"...? This is a horrific turn of phrase. Its either one, or the other... |
| I'm not sure why Last Exit is now labeled as "patchy and uneven" but if I recall correctly it is one of the best and most solid efforts of the 00's which Stylus also agreed with when they had it in their top 50 albums of the 2000-'05. |

| so this is goodbye isn't groundbreaking, it's just damned good. |
| Last Exit is most definitely not patchy and uneven. This is great, but not quite as great as that one. |
| I'm pretty sure he says "blue fog" not "good fuck." |
| This album is merely okay. There are some good tracks here (I LOVE the first two cuts), but overall, it's just not all that memorable. I've become quite disenchanted with it, and rather quickly. This is notably inferior to Last Exit, one of 2004's very finest releases. |
| agree with 'idunnowhy'... i could care less about groundbreaking but can't stop listening to this. fantastic album and certainly deserves an A. |
