	Yeah, this is how you write about Wolf Eyes coherently! Nice. I tried to keep up with their releases for a while. Impossible. This album is amazing - logical (if that can ever be applied to this band) progression from Burned Mind in terms of major labelly releases. The pressure build and release of this album is totally absorbing and gratifying. Top 20 of the year, or is that just getting exciteable?

	I like the review, but I don't see Wolf Eyes popularity swelling, and snowballing into major sucess. Despite changing the way many see music, noise will always be a genre shunned by the masses. Also, the comparison to Bleach seems a bit off base. Hopefully I'll be proven wrong, and Wolf Eyes will take over.

	In my eyes, it is already amazing that Wolf Eyes has gotten as much press and notoriety as they have. If you asked me six years ago if anyone other than noiseboys would be talking about this band I would have laughed. An invitation might indeed be a tall order, as Wolf Eyes is just such a hard sell, but the backlash I imagined all of this noise nonsense would achieve doesn't seem to be happening. After Spin and Pitchfork and every other music site latched onto this shit I thought it would get the reactionary journo treatment, but it is a testament to the very nature of the music that it has somehow avoided much of the pitfalls and trend-type cycling that befall most scene and genre explosions. Of course these dudes are passionate and "really mean it" and I guess it translates to audiences. I still couldn't get my girlfriend to give a shit, but I do think in general Wolf Eyes have helped blaze a trail and open some ears. Hopefully, instead of converting the masses, records like this will just help establish that music of this stripe should be reviewed and will remain part of the general dialogue and musical landscape for years to come, instead of just slinking back to the pages of the Wire and Dusted. Good review. Look forward to more like it and interviews with folks like David Keenan. Thanks.

	Well, most likely no one is following this any more, but I just saw Wolf Eyes and John Wiese on the tour for this record and it was by far and away the best Wolf Eyes show I have ever seen. Probably my 7th or 8th time seeing them over the last 6 years, and while it is certainly different than the old insanity and utter claustrophobic churn of seeing them in a small space, they totally translated on stage for the first time to me. Wiese put on the best solo noise set I have seen in a long, long time as well, perhaps the best I have ever seen. Really worth checking out, totally on top of their games.
