It´s ,all in all, too much strings for my ears, as if JJ had been diving too much in the sound areas of Arvo Pärt and Gorecki´s 3rd symphony. That said, the 9-minute-piece with the deliberately emotion-free instructor´s voice surrounded by a more careful input of gong-like sounds and strings is mind-blowing! Worth the price of the cd alone! The song at the end is beautiful, too. After midnight, it all works fine as a perfect chill-out! Touching! - B

I see, Paul, you wrote the Max Richter- review, too. These two album are a good couple, Richter downplaying pathetic moments, and Johannsson not being shy at all to give them a lot of space!
