great great, i am listening to this on myspace, it seems much more of an album at ease with its cohesive style than milk of human kindness, which was good but a bit all over the shop what with the prefuse beat here, the video game boss music there, and the brad laner/mediciney guitar on top. but above all they are brilliant live.

Such an awesome album. THIS is what Beach Boys/Zombies inspired psych pop should sound like in the year 2007. Dude takes that IDM/mathematics based creative background and shits out the most quality of psychedelic pop jamz. Completely rocks the headphones, too. Dan Snaith is a special, special man.

ha, funny, new brad laner song sounds like it could've been an andorra demo! http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/page/forkcast/45274-brad-laner-june-gloom-mp3stream

One of the stupidest live shows I've ever seen was this guy when he was Manitoba. Really bad performance, dumb costumes, lameness tossed about as easily as someone breathes.
|
ha, that's too bad, i loved them when i saw them as manitoba. they played drums, keyboards, and guitars to their vocal tracks which i initially didn't like (the idea of) but during the performance thought it very cool. it certainly freed them up to propulse the hell out of the music with two drummers. it's a bit of a shame then that i've seen some of their live videos online for andorra tracks and they sound like a conventional four piece band and not a little limp.
