I'm quite interested in this, as I taped their Triple J "Live at the Wireless" session from the same tour (sadly having missed the Brisbane show) and still have it, but I missed the start, and I was in a caravan park on holiday so the reception wasn't great. The extended arrangement of New Town was great. Unfortunately, a bassy, "full" mix (JJJ's fault?) detracted from the band's spare, trebly feel a little. It was also a little loose and slow. Can anyone tell me whether the live album avoids these problems? |
