 First, I really like this album. I'm just a bit shocked that it's getting all this praise while sounding like a Play It Again Sam release from the early 90s. One of those ill-fitting "not quite industrial, but not quite rock" bands that sounds a bit too distant to grab the usual pop fan. This review is pretty on the mark though.

 A marketing concept as indie rock band, with synergy everywhere one looks. Buy the album, then the pedals. Sweeeeeet.

 I don't understand why no one has picked up on the heavy Swans influence on this album. Maybe no one listens to Swans. Ride also seems like a more accurate comparison than MBV.
