erek Miller has just returned from a six-month canoe trip along the
Mississippi River. No thoughts of Deliverance, dearies; we'll have no
such influence on our fond remembrances, as you share his tale. Most
days were spent knee-deep at the shoreline, reaching into the soft
shoals for carp and other bottom-feeder fish. A rather remarkable
collection of river-softened pebbles filled his boat by week three.
The nights were spent sharpening his toenails for proper
shoal-digging. But, now he's returned to us all here at Stylus. And
he's the better man for his river-dwelling. And, yes, those pebbles
are for sale to the highest bidders.
